Our council makes an effort to expand and promote the domestic green industry through a research and development of a green building certification system, training of green building experts, diffusion of green building industrial technologies, and a close international exchange and cooperation relation with WGBC, USGBC, and others.

We also make our best on securing the professionalism, objectivity, and fairness in carrying out the new business to certify green buildings and contributing to the development and settlement of a certificate system, country branding, vitalization of the certified buildings.

Introduction of a head office of long-life span housing certification

The rate of apartments in the whole of houses in South Korea has increased up to 59% since 2010, but they have a very short period of time to use compared to the average number of years to use apartment houses in main countries and limits to cope with a change of various residents’ lifestyles due to their standardized spatial composition such as box-frame construction.

For this, we established a head office of long-life housing certification in our committee after we introduced a system to certify long-life span housing in December 24th, 2013 at a national level and provided houses with durability, variability, and availability to repair for the reduction of resources and energy.

We will do our best on securing the professionalism, objectivity, and fairness in carrying out the business to certify and contributing to the development and settlement of a certification system, country branding, and vitalization of certified buildings.
